IPL Therapy

Sun damage. Redness. Uneven tone. Addressed at the source, not the surface.

What is IPL Therapy?

Over time, light leaves its mark, sun exposure, broken capillaries, and years of flush and redness that no foundation quite covers. IPL Therapy uses precisely calibrated broad-spectrum light to reach the chromophores in the skin, the pigment and hemoglobin that drive visible discoloration, and clear what has accumulated without disturbing the surface. The skin is not resurfaced. It is reset. What emerges is your complexion, clarified.

Is This For You?

You are not bothered by one specific spot. It is the overall picture, a redness that never fully settles, a tone that looks tired no matter the season, sun damage that has layered quietly over years. You want your skin to look like itself again, even, calm, clear. Without starting from scratch.

Best for: sun spots · diffuse redness · broken capillaries · uneven skin tone · post-summer correction · rosacea-related flushing

What to Expect

Your VIO Personal Plan begins with dermoscopic analysis, mapping pigment depth, vascular density, and chromatic distribution across treatment zones. We calibrate wavelength, pulse duration, and fluence to your unique tissue architecture, ensuring energy reaches its target with surgical specificity. Treatment unfolds in controlled pulses, brief, warm, purposeful. Post-treatment, you may notice temporary darkening of pigmented areas as melanin rises and sheds over the following week.

Vascular irregularities often resolve more subtly, fading gradually as collapsed vessels are reabsorbed. Most guests observe meaningful clarity within two weeks, with optimal outcomes emerging across three to five sessions spaced four weeks apart. From there, we refine, adjusting protocols as your tissue responds and your aesthetic goals evolve.

Benefits
  • Visible sun damage fades over two to three weeks following treatment
  • Diffuse redness and persistent flushing diminish with each session
  • Broken capillaries are absorbed and cleared
  • Skin tone evens with minimal surface disruption and little to no downtime
  • Results build, each treatment compounds the last
Process & Downtime

When you arrive, we review what you are seeing, where the discoloration sits, how long it has been there, what has and has not worked before. Your provider will walk through the treatment plan and calibrate the settings specifically to your skin tone and concern before anything begins.

The treatment itself moves quickly. You will feel a sensation like a brief snap of warmth with each pulse, tolerable and short. Sun spots may darken slightly in the days following treatment before they surface and shed. That is the process working.

Downtime: Mild redness for a few hours is common. Darkened spots flake off within one to two weeks. Nothing that requires schedule rearrangement.

Your results: Most people see meaningful change after three to four sessions. We space treatments to let the skin complete each cycle and assess where we are together.

Research

Broad-spectrum light absorbed by pigment and blood vessels clears what has accumulated beneath the surface, without touching what is already working.

IPL Therapy targets melanin and oxyhemoglobin, the chromophores responsible for pigmentation and vascular discoloration, using filtered broad-spectrum light that is absorbed selectively without damaging surrounding tissue. Clinical studies consistently show significant reduction in pigmented and vascular lesions across a series of three to five treatments.
